In the previous chapter of Pure Villain, Diana was peacefully making some Kimjang when she sees her granddaughter on the news. Diana is enraged that her granddaughter is creating havoc on streets but she tries and calm herself down to think rationally. Even if she hates her, it is still her granddaughter and Diana suits up to go outside. Just as Diana is about to leave, she looks at the perpetrator carefully and realizes that it is not her granddaughter. Diana becomes fired up to beat up the person masquerading as her granddaughter.
Diana puts on her mask and reaches the site of crime where a bunch of thugs were giving civilians trouble. The civilians run away upon seeing Diana but the thugs egg her on, asking for her name. They make fun when Diana says its black dog but she makes them all regret it soon after when she begins thrashing him. At the police station, an officer tells another officer that she has a feeling that Black Dog as well as Yoo Dai will appear soon. She waves her hand and Diana rushes past them at the exact time, proving the officer right.
At the same time, Rosa is barely hanging from the structure when Doryeong arrives to save her. Rosa is thankful to see a familiar face, hugging him in gratitude. Her gratitude turns into anger when she sees that Doryeong is hurt and gets up to go beat up the person responsible for it. Just as they get up, Diana arrives in front of them and Rosa instantly recognizes her grandmother. Diana confronts the doppelganger and they begin fighting during which her mask breaks and Rosa sees that it was indeed her grandmother.
