The next installment of the Resident Evil 3DCG animated film saga is almost here! Resident Evil: Death Island, an all-new feature based on the best-selling Capcom game, will be available July 25 on Blu-ray, 4K Steelbox, Digital.
The film, a direct sequel to Resident Evil: Vendetta (2017), continues the story lines established by Resident Evil: Degeneration (2008) and Resident Evil: Damnation (2012).
In the film, D.S.O. agent Leon S. Kennedy is on a mission to rescue Dr. Antonio Taylor from kidnappers, when a mysterious woman thwarts his pursuit. Meanwhile, B.S.A.A. agent Chris Redfield is investigating a zombie outbreak in San Francisco, where the cause of the infection cannot be identified. The only thing the victims have in common is that they all visited Alcatraz Island recently. Following that clue, Chris and his team head to the island, where a new horror awaits them.

Matthew Mercer returns as the voice of Leon S. Kennedy alongside Kevin Dorman as Chris Redfield. The franchise veterans are joined by Stephanie Panisello, Nicole Tompkins, and Erin Cahill.
Death Island is directed by Eiichiro Hasumi (Assassination Classroom), with a screenplay by Makoto Fukami (Psycho-Pass) in collaboration with Capcom, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment, and Japanese production studio TMS Entertainment.
