Fallout 5: Everything We Know

The first Fallout game was released in the year 1997, and ever since then, the game has been a fan favorite. The next game was released the next year very much was titled Fallout 2 and was released in 1998. And then, for almost ten years, there was no news about the next game until in 2008, Bethesda Studios launched Fallout 3.

This was the first game in the series that was not only launched for PC but also for consoles such as the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. For another seven years, there was nothing until Fallout 4 was released in 2015, and it is still available to play. PlayStation players can play this on their PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, while Xbox players can play on their Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S.

If have not yet played Fallout 4 and you are interested to play then for PlayStation you can get it from the PlayStation Store and Xbox players can get it from the Xbox Store. PC players can buy the game from Steam. But before you do buy the game make sure to check the minimum required specifications to run the game without having any hiccups.

  • OS: Windows 7 or Windows 10  (Latest Service Pack) or Windows 11 (Latest Service Pack)
  • Processor: Intel Core i5-2300 2.8 GHz or AMD Phenom II X4 945 3.0 GHz or equivalent
  • Memory: 8GB RAM
  • Graphics: Nvidia GTX 550 Ti 2GB or AMD Radeon HD 7870 2GB or equivalent
  • Storage: 30GB Available

The game should be played only on systems that have 64-bits. Fallout 4 also supports multiple languages such as English, French, Italian, German, Spanish – Spain, Polish, Portuguese – Brazil, Russian, Traditional Chinese and Japanese. For some of the languanges mentioned above has full support that is interface, full audio and subtitles.

Things We Know

Many players have been worried about the fact that Fallout 5 is going to be only an online game and not have a main story mode like its predecessors. It can be confirmed that is not the case and it will have an entire story mode without having to go online for it.

There is going to be a story mode but Bethesda Studios has been considering to be adding multiplayer to its game but they do say that it is still under consideration and it might not be added in the final game whcih is released later.

Many games like Fortnite, The Witcher, Bioshock are known to be using  Unreal Engine 5 and even Fallout 76 is said to be using Creation Engine but a highly modified version of it. Fallout 5 might be using Creation Engine 2 which is the gen of Creation Engine.

There are bunch of probable locations for Fallout 5 to be set in and they are Chicago, Alaska, New Orleans. All the places that have been mentioned above has some ties or relations with the previous games. This is why many players think that it could be one of these areas.

No one knows if this will happen but it is fun to take under consideration that the game can be set in some other country. Bethesda Studios could make a game that is not even set in The United States Of America. This could be a new beginning for the title and could speak about events that did happen in the past.

is going to be very hard to comment about the gameplay and the mechanism for the gameplay as nobody really knows even if the game is in its development stage. There has been no leaked gameplay videos, there has been no announcement of any sorts either.

But when it comes to what the players want, looking at all the review looks like people would love something that gives a more RPG or even MMORPG like Elden Ring, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: Dawn Of Raganrok and some other AAA games. I personally do not think that they should change the game from the existing mechanism.

Fallout 5 might be an exclusive game, it will be exclusive only to PC and Xbox as Microsoft has acquired Bethesda Studios and ever since then Bethesda Studio games have not been released for the PlayStation. There is a chance that Fallout 5 might be released in the year 2025.

As of now there is no official word by Bethesda Studios and that makes it hard for us to know anything about Fallout 5. Like mentioned before that there has been no official announcement of any sorts to make any claims about the game. For all we know that the game might not even be named Fallout 5 and Bethesda Studio could name the game something else. There is a long time for release.
