Raven Kwok: “Time Left Shift 7 is a generative installation commissioned by Swedish ski apparel brand Peak Performance and UCCA Lab in Beijing for the pop-up event ‘Moments in Åre’ at Réel Mall in Shanghai. It derives from my time++ project, but is integrated with new customized variations plus branding elements.
“Similar to the mechanics of time++, secondary particles constantly leap onto the wall display, but this time, collectively show the Swedish time instead. All particles also adopt a specific Peak Performance color palette that splits vertically into two rows and alternates every minute.
“The installation is programmed using Processing. All sound effects are designed by 3ASiC. The pop-up scenography is created by spatial and scenic designer Shen Ruofan.”
