From the release:

New York film production and motion graphics studio Dress Code today announces the signing of director Antonio Santos to their roster for US and Canadian representation.

Director and published photographer Antonio was born and raised in rural Virginia, before relocating to New York in 2008 to uncover and challenge his artistic view of the world. In 2011, Antonio collaborated with a close friend to create and manage a production company and creative agency based in Brooklyn, working as a creative director for over six years directly involved in all facets of production.

After gaining experience across production and its many complexities, Antonio realized his true passion was photography and directing. With over fourteen years of industry experience across feature films, commercials, documentaries, and fashion films, Antonio’s broad skill set and ability to diversify across mediums has seen his work named as a Vimeo Staff Pick and featured as an Adweek ‘Ad of the Day’ for ‘#PartyHardMoms’ spots for American household brand, HEFTY.

Adopting an energetic, collaborative approach to storytelling, Antonio embeds himself within filming in the early stages of pre-production, ensuring that every detail is accounted for. His thorough and thoughtful planning process allows for the creation of clever camera transitions and intricate camera movements, resulting in unique films filled with motions, emotions, and memorable character performances.

Antonio’s portfolio of work embodies his belief that the richest, most powerful creative ideas stem from stories in which shared and diverse experiences have the opportunity to be conveyed. This belief is evident in his street-style photography which highlights the emotions within the environments it portrays, and the multiplicity of his directed work.

As part of the Dress Code roster, Antonio will continue to work on developing some personal film projects, in addition to working on commercial projects with the Dress Code production team that push the visual limits and create memorable stories.

Antonio Santos, director, Dress Code says: “I’m so excited to join the Dress Code family, their refreshing approach to production, their honesty, professionalism, and kindness appealed to me on all levels – as well as their amazing work. I can’t wait to get started.”

Brad Edelstein, executive producer at Dress Code adds: “We’ve been on the lookout for directors like Antonio who are pushing the craft of story and bringing visual artistry to filmmaking. He brings a style to our roster that’s slightly different and new, yet his work feels right at home. Outside of his creativity, Antonio’s personality is magnetic, you always want a director who sets a collaborative tone from the initial creative call and can shepherd that spirit through to wrap. Antonio brings that excitement which creative teams, crews, and talent instantly gel with.”
